1939 - Happy birthday Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is introduced by Montgomery Ward stores. So he is 67 years old. Does anyone out there not remember him? It’s a wonder he didn’t go Columbine on the North Pole!

Bush Seeks Iraq Advice From ‘Zoltan Speaks’ Machine.

President Bush was seen at a New Jersey fairground yesterday after hours, consulting The Great Zoltan on how to handle mounting violence in Iraq. He is said to be “quite disappointed” with the all knowing sage as he seemed, “almost robotic in his answers.”

“It worked so well with Tom Hanks in that movie, you know the one where he’s a little kid and turns big, now what was that called again? Boy howdy! Can Tom Hanks dance or what? Well folks, I have had a lengthy conversation with Zoltar, he has given be both good advice and bad, so now I have to sift through the information and give this some careful thought. When is the next election?”

(above: The original 'Roadmap for peace')

After losing Congress, talks with bipartisan panels, world leaders, The Pentagon, and the magic 8-Ball the President was not to pleased with the information he has been given.

It has been said that George W. Bush should “sh*t or get off the pot after all he is commander and chief”, yet the President rebuffs these criticisms, by stating he is not going to make a quick decision, as he does not wish to make the wrong one.

The President also believes that he can help “form public opinion, as well as follow it.”

 Today In History Dec. 7

1917 - World War I: The US declares war on Austria-Hungary (only three years late there guys). It’s is little known that our current President is a big fan of lateness, and Woodrow Wilson of course. President Wilson was late seen in a personal ad, on an online ‘blogsite’ called (and get this ‘The Geekly Planet’), who knew an X-president could stoop so low?

1928 - Happy Birthday! Noam Chomsky, American linguist and political writer He is also known as the worlds most boring liberal.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

1949 - Happy Birthday Tom Waits, American singer, composer, and actor, an all around Crazy Dude!

1965 - Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras simultaneously lift mutual excommunications that had been in place since 1054. Is this some kind of teenage euphemism I don’t know yet?

1988 - Yasser Arafat recognizes the right of Israel to exist. Well if Yasser, says so, it must be. Come on guys please!!

1995 - The Galileo spacecraft arrives at Jupiter, a little more than six years after it was launched by Space Shuttle Atlantis during Mission STS-34. Given the speed of technology, by the time, Galileo had arrived, the program was obsolete and the one computer that read the program only showed a picture of this,

2003 - The Conservative Party of Canada is officially recognized after the merger of the Canadian Alliance and Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. Try and picture the love-child of Tony Blair and Bob and Doug Mckenzie.
