After 200 years of oppression, African Americans were given the shortest month of the year in order to celebrate meaningless trivia, so white folks can pretend they care about black folks and their place in the rich and tragic history of this country that was stolen from another group of red folks.
At first African peoples were brought to this country as slaves, were they were treated horribly cruel, whipped and chained.

In later years, in yet another effort to emulate the black man white people came up with S&M, in an odd way to pay tribute to them.
Harriet Tubman (c. 1822–March 10, 1913), also known as "Moses of Her People," was an African-American abolitionist. An escaped slave, she made approximately 13 voyages into Maryland to rescue about 70 enslaved friends and family to freedom in Canada. She was an integral part of the Underground Railroad.

The Tuskegee Airmen was the popular name of a group of African American pilots who flew with distinction during World War II as the 332d Fighter Group of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
They were often held in contempt, from white military officers, as through their bravery and resourcefulness, top secret project Operation: Get Rid of Darky was a complete failure.

Jim Crow Laws, where segregation was an integral part of society, this really screwed things up when ‘The Blue Man Group’ arrived.
